A downloadable game for Windows

Vespiary (noun, plural, ves-pee-er-ee: a nest of social wasps)

Casual cyberpunk-themed card game based around bounty hunting, and inspired by the range of NPC interactions in cyberpunk "immersive sim" style games, and by games like Scoundrel.

Progress through the rough streets of three districts of an unnamed dystopian city, dealing with the police, trading, hacking, and fending off gangs, as you track down your bounty target. Management of which Cards you have ready to use is everything.

Modes:

  • Contract (standard, pick an end puzzle-boss, pick a timeline)
  • Endless (there are no contracts, just endless streets, threats, and annoying Snack Bots)
  • Quick Play (random start, no starting equipment re-rolls)

Timelines:

  • A (no effect)
  • B (police are enforcing a curfew)
  • C (corporate power runs unchecked)

Controls:

  • Z Key or A Button: confirm
  • Escape or Start Button: pause
  • Arrow Keys or D-Pad: navigate

Nice game with a cool concept. I hope to see it fleshed out a bit more in the future, though.

Welp, the game was a little to easy. My endless run lasted for 2 FREAKING HOURS. I'm not joking, it's a lil' easy

The controls are literally written on the game page... It's:

Z key or (A on controller) - Confirm
