A downloadable trash for Windows

BOOTLEG BOX is a retro pastiche of bootleg NES/Famicom multicarts and unlicensed games - featuring:

  • ULTRA PADDLES
  • CYBER ATTACK
  • CHOMP'S PUZZLE (My personal favourite)
  • NUCLEAR CODES
  • EGGSELENT (Runner-up for my favourite)

These small games are designed to feel retro-yet-smooth, with streamlined controls, and colourful, sometimes toy-like art. Difficulty ramps up over time. Best suited to killing time during lunch breaks or something, idk.

Everything should be pretty well optimised, and each game responds to the same control scheme as outlined in the main menu.

Whaaaat. How is this so underrated? These are some of the most carefully thought out games I've played on itch.io in a long time. Really hoping someone can bring this to light. Absolutely love it!

Amazing! All the games were great, and Chomp's Puzzle is super neat. And Nuclear Codes is such a clever take on a word game.
